1. Who is responsible?
Blacktop Reign is the project behind this website and its alpha application list.

2. What this notice covers
This website introduces Blacktop Reign and accepts applications for future alpha testing. Applying does not create a player account or guarantee access. Game accounts, gameplay data and any future payments will need additional privacy information before those services become available.
3. Data and purposes
- Alpha applications: your email address, your 18+ declaration, the consent you give in the form and application-related information. We use your email to record your application, avoid duplicate applications and contact you about alpha testing. A new application records your email, the server-recorded submission time, your alpha consent and 18+ declaration, the exact statement texts and notice versions, and an expiry time. The form requires both declarations. Old applications will not be assigned consent or age evidence that was never recorded.
- Website security: Cloudflare may process your IP address, request details and browser or device signals to deliver and protect the website and distinguish visitors from bots.
- Correspondence: when you email us, we process your email address and the information you provide to answer your request.
We do not require a password, country or player name for an alpha application. We do not use the alpha checkbox as permission for unrelated marketing. Any newsletter would require a separate assessment and, where needed, separate consent.
4. Legal bases
Alpha application processing and related invitations rely on the consent you give by actively checking the application checkbox and submitting the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Website delivery, abuse prevention and answering ordinary enquiries rely on our legitimate interests in operating a secure website and communicating with visitors, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
5. Service providers and recipients
Cloudflare provides hosting, network security, database hosting and Turnstile protection. Turnstile processes signals such as an IP address and browser information. Cloudflare also acts as an independent controller for certain processing to improve its bot detection. See the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Alpha applications are stored directly in our Cloudflare database. A successful application opens a confirmation page. We do not send new applications to FormSubmit or use Google reCAPTCHA. Authorised administrators access the application list through the Cloudflare dashboard.
We use Resend to send an automatic confirmation email after a successful new alpha application. Resend receives the recipient email address and confirmation content. Age declarations and consent records are not included in the email. See Resend’s Data Processing Addendum.
If you contact us by email, your message is processed by the services used to receive and answer it. Historical application notifications may also exist in mailboxes or services used before this website update. Access is limited to authorised people handling applications and enquiries.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Their applicable data protection terms describe how they handle international transfers. You can contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data. See Cloudflare’s Data Processing Addendum.
7. Retention
Our retention policy is to keep alpha applications for no more than 12 months. Each new application receives an expiry date 365 days after submission. Expired records are removed when the application handler runs its cleanup. A daily cleanup is scheduled for 03:00 UTC and removes records up to one day before their expiry date.
You can request earlier removal by withdrawing your consent, unless a legal obligation requires limited retention. Application records include the associated consent and age-declaration evidence. Historical notifications, email-provider records and backups have separate retention and deletion arrangements; database cleanup does not remove those copies.
8. Cookies and external resources
This website contains no advertising or behavioural analytics scripts. Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and device signals to protect the application form against bots. Security services may use cookies or similar technologies for this purpose; see the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Fonts are hosted on this website, with no font requests to Google. Turnstile loads when the application form approaches your screen. Discord links open an external website; Discord’s own privacy terms apply when you visit it. Discord is not embedded in this website.
9. Your rights and choices
You may request access to your personal data, correction or deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent. Email our privacy contact with your request; we may need proportionate information to verify your identity.
We normally respond within one month, with any permitted extension explained to you. Some rights are subject to legal conditions. You may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or your relevant supervisory authority.
10. Age, security and updates
Blacktop Reign and its alpha applications are intended only for people aged 18 or older. Applicants must actively confirm they are at least 18. The form and application handler reject submissions without that confirmation. This is a self-declaration, not an identity or age-verification service. We do not request a date of birth or identity document. If we discover an application from someone under 18, we will exclude it from the alpha list and handle deletion under our retention and legal obligations.
Website traffic uses HTTPS. The application handler checks bot verification, consent and the 18+ declaration before accepting an application.
We will date material changes to this notice and provide further information or seek fresh consent where required before using application data for a new purpose.
